Who am I? Well, I’m a wife, mom, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and child of God who loves every role that I play in this amazing life I have been given. Relationships have always been a huge part of my life, and maybe that is exactly why I love capturing families in photographs. Ever since I was a little girl, I have always carried around a camera. I was always the girl on youth group trips that came home with 8 rolls of film to be developed, and I was always the one that made everyone stop what they were doing so we could get a “group shot.” I still have boxes and boxes of photographs from my childhood and teenage years, but I never imagined that I would one day be a photographer.
My husband saw something in me that I never saw in myself and bought me my first digital SLR about a year after we were married. From that moment on, I was hooked. I had some wonderful friends who let me take pictures of their children and with the support and encouragement from those friends and my family, I have built a business that I truly love.
I consider it a true honor to be asked into a family’s life and capture their special moments and memories. My prayer is that my business will be my ministry and that families will be touched by the photographs that come from each session.
