your session

I am an on-location photographer which means I don’t have a studio.  Homes, parks, downtowns, historic sites, gardens…These all act as my studio!  I have several locations that I use on a regular basis, but I am always up for suggestions and shooting at your favorite spot.

I’ll spend a little bit of time getting to know your kids and helping them “warm up” before I start shooting.  And when I do start shooting, you can expect me to do about anything.  Sometimes I will just follow behind, capturing the little things you do.  Other times, I will act crazy, sing loud, or make crazy faces to get those genuine smiles and giggles.  I will guide your family in posing to an extent, but I also encourage you to do what you do as a family so I can capture you being just that – YOU!  And two words you won’t hear me say….  “Say Cheese.”  I want the authentic smiles – not the forced ones.  And even when you think we can’t possibly be getting anything good, I can almost always guarantee that we are.

My husband and I have a baby boy, Jubal, who was born this past Christmas Eve. We would love to have family some family photos taken now that he is 6 months old. Please let me know how we can discuss scheduling a session with you. We love your work! (and you have taken photos for my sister’s family – Lorraine Doran- and they were beautiful!)

I cant tell u how much we thank you for coming to our home and taking our first family pictures with our little angel, Kiley. It was such a blessing meeting you. You are amazing woman and it was very sweet of you to come to our home and make that possible for us when we were unable to get her out and to go get pictures done. You do amazing work. We will love and cherish these pictures u made for us forever. Our little angel rested in peace on June 9th 2011. We only had a small amount of time with her but every minute was amazing. And thanks to you i have amazing pictures i can look back at and remember all the good times we shared. So thank you so much for making that possible.

P.s. i forgot to ask u, we had lost our home in the tornado. and all our belongings was destroyed and all my pictures has gotten wet and wrinkled and some just got really bad but i found the CD u gave me but in the tornado it had gotten really bad scratched and it wont work. And i was wondering if u still had the pictures on file? And if i could get another copy of the pictures on a cd. Ill pay how much ever it is. i would just like to go get some more printed off where ours got ruined. thanks.

Amanda, it was a blessing and an honor to capture sweet Kylie and her amazing parents. Thank you for allowing me into your lives for a small moment in time and giving me the chance to meet your precious angel!!!
